Delivery Charges


Delivery options will be provided automatically at checkout when you select the destination country of your order.

Delivery on all orders over £120 is FREE

For orders under £120, delivery charges are as follows:

UK: Royal Mail First Class Signed For delivery - £4.00

Europe (excluding UK): International Signed For delivery - £8.00

Rest of World (excluding Europe): International Signed For delivery - £10.00


Delivery - UK


All purchases made at The Style Standard for delivery to UK addresses will be shipped by the Royal Mail first-class recorded delivery service on the working day immediately following the order and will take 1 to 2 working days to arrive. We ship all orders by recorded delivery to ensure the safe receipt of your products (including any orders which qualify for free shipping offers). Recorded delivery does require a signature on delivery, so please consider this when entering the shipping address. Unfortunately, in order to ensure safe receipt of your purchase, we are unable to accept requests to leave parcels with neighbours or in a porch etc.


If parcels are not signed for or you are not available to sign for the delivery - a note will be left instructing you where you can collect your parcel from. If you do not collect it within the specified time the parcel will be returned to us.  Should this happen, we will notify you by email and will refund your order (excluding original shipping charges).  You will then need to resubmit a second order including shipping charges.


Delivery - International


All purchases made at The Style Standard for delivery outside the UK are shipped by the Royal Mail International Signed For airmail service on the working day immediately following your order.  This service tracks your shipment to the UK border and requires a signature on delivery. Shipments to Western Europe will take approximately three working days, to Eastern Europe will take approximately five working days and to the rest of the world will take approximately seven working days.  Please note that delivery charges are fixed as per the checkout page, regardless of weight or specific destination within the region categories. Any free shipping offers also apply to international orders.


Should we receive a returned unsigned for parcel from an overseas order, we will notify you by email and refund the order (excluding original shipping charges). You will then need to resubmit a second order including shipping charges.


Further information for international delivery


All overseas deliveries may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination.  You will be responsible for payment of any import duties and taxes.  Please note that The Style Standard has no control over these charges.  Please ensure you contact your local customs office for further information prior to placing your order.  Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined.  We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.  Delivery may be affected by Customs and Excise delays. The Style Standard is not liable for any local import duties and taxes or Customs delays that may be imposed.


Returns - UK


Please note that returns postage will be at your expense. Returns are accepted for a full refund or exchange, providing the items are received at The Style Standard within 14 days of your order receipt (28 days from outside the UK), with all tags attached and in their original condition. If any tags have been removed or any wear is evident, we will be unable to provide a refund or exchange. Please ensure you allow enough time for post to reach us within 14 days.


Each order will contain a returns note with full instructions on the returns procedure.  If you do not have returns note, please just email us at enquiries@thestylestandard.co.uk and we will send a copy to you.


Please complete the returns note, indicating whether you would like an exchange or refund. Exchanges can only be made for a different size or colour of the same style. For an alternative style, please place a new order and return the original item to us for a refund.


Include the completed note in your parcel, reseal the parcel and address the parcel to the following address, ensuring the original shipping label is covered.

Return the package through your local Royal Mail Post Office and ensure you request and retain a proof of postage. Proof of postage is essential for you to process claims if your return is lost.  We recommend using a tracked service such as Royal Mail Signed For to ensure safe delivery. Please ensure you retain the proof of postage until we confirm that your return has been received at The Style Standard.  Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.


Please note that The Style Standard cannot accept responsibility for the loss of packages or products returned which have been mislabelled or lost.  Dispatched goods are not deemed as lost by the Royal Mail until 15 working days have passed from the date of despatch.


Returns - International


Please note that all returns postage will be at your expense.  Returns must be received at The Style Standard within 28 days of receipt of your order. Please allow at least 10 days for postage when returning your item.

We advise that you use an insured shipping method and retain your shipping information until we have confirmed receipt of your return, so that you can make a claim with the carrier in case of loss.


Please mark your package clearly as ‘Returned Goods’ to avoid customs delays.  Any customs charges and duties, or other taxes related to any returned items are your responsibility. 


Please note that The Style Standard cannot accept responsibility for the loss of packages or products returned which have been mislabelled or lost.   We would recommend utilising a tracked delivery service to ensure safe receipt of your return.


Returns or exchanges on orders placed with a Gift voucher


If you would like to return an order paid for with a gift voucher, please note that any refunds will be issued in the form of a gift voucher.  We can only process exchanges or replacements at the same original value of the order or at a higher value if there is enough balance left on the gift voucher.


Payments


Please note that payments will appear on your statement as “STYLESTAND”. We are able to accept payments online with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Diners Club and Maestro cards.
